After playing a few nights at Vanilla in Windsor, I have been asked to DJ there more regularly.
This is great news and gives a nice balance to the exclusive parties and weddings I currently DJ at. This Saturday, I will have my own room and be playing classic disco music from the Studio 54 era.
The sort of music will be all the disco favourites “I Feel Love” and “You should be dancing” as well as more funky numbers like “Movin” by Brass Construction. If I feel the night can take it, I will drop in a few modern re-mixes.
For this, I will have a laptop running Traktor and using a Native Instruments sound card going into the clubs Pioneer mixer.
